The weather has been nice the last few days so it was a good time to catch up on my cycling. Leaving my home in Tousist I cycled to Kilmakilloge harbour on both days, over two different back roads, and back via the coast road towards Kenmare.
Going over the back of Knockatee was tough going on both occasions especially after my recent hiatus from cycling. But what goes up must go down and the view is always worth the effort. The coast road, as the name suggests, closely follows the coast at sea-level and thus makes for comfortable cycling (although further on in the opposite direction towards Ardgroom it is steap in parts too!).
Can’t allow myself to get this lazy again, need more cycling!
